LTA Galactic Inc. Senior Software Systems Engineer in Akron, Ohio

Work with the systems engineering and flight software development teams to develop airship requirements, use cases, and translate them into system and software requirements. Maintain requirements traceability, design verification and test procedures, and manage relevant documentation in an Application Lifecycle Management tool. Generate and review Functional Hazard Analysis, Failure Mode Effects Analysis, and System Safety Assessments to support Experimental and Type Certification of LTA airships with the FAA. Lead and/or participate in creation or sourcing of software tools required for certification under the DO-178C standard. Participate in the bring-up and debugging of a rigid airship's systems and analyze ground and flight test data to support testing and validation efforts. Participate in the design, development, review, and testing of airborne software for airships using C/C++, MATLAB Simulink or ANSYS SCADE tool sets.
