Primary Purpose of the Position:

The SAP OTC Business Analyst will join a Global team applying their expertise in SAP technology, specifically in the area of SD / OTC to provide competitive solutions to enterprise-wide challenges. This project focused role functions in a technical Business Systems Analyst capacity working closely with the Business and applying technical expertise in a business/technical system area. Additionally, you will strive for cross-functional and cross-platform solutions will provide guidance to departmental and divisional Business/Technical Management on IT Strategies and Initiatives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business/technical needs and translate process into practice through the current IT Tool Sets. Project involvement is multi-disciplinary and complex in scope.

  • Identify opportunities to enhance existing operations using new IT Technology as a replacement for Legacy Systems manual effort.

  • Implement new business/technical strategies through configuration interaction and creation of programing specifications.

  • Provide knowledge transfer on current technologies to stakeholders and junior level staff.

  • Conduct full integration testing of new or changed business/technical processes (developing business). Prepare Technical Cycle Tests for use by stakeholder community. Document all process changes and write operational instructions work requirements.

  • Provide adequate analyses and supporting documentation to enable management to develop effective work plans and project schedules (track to project plans and monitor results). Adjust priorities in order to accomplish objectives on time and under budget.

Experience and Education:

  • Bachelors degree in related discipline or in lieu of degree 11 years of Information Technology experience.

  • 6 or more years of experience in functional work or IT support work in a specific business/technical process area

Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Demonstrate proficiency of SAP SD/ Order Fulfillment ECC 6.0 or later to support said business/technical processes. Strong understanding of and experience in sales, pricing, order management and distribution business processes and the rules surrounding those process.

  • Specific knowledge of the business/technical process area or IT support knowledge for a specific business/technical process area

  • Must be capable of working under minimal supervision, being a Project Lead or Manager. Possess a wide degree of creativity and latitudeDevelop an understanding of Project Planning Tools.

  • Must possess Leadership, Organizational, Communication and Time Management Skills
