Ohio-based Akron Children's Hospital seeks a Pediatrician to provide services at the Beeghly campuses. Akron Children's Hospital is the largest pediatric healthcare system in Northeast Ohio and is ranked among the best children's hospitals. This integrated healthcare delivery system includes: * Two free-standing pediatric hospitals * More than 800 providers, who manage 900,000+ patient visits annually * A network of more than 50 primary and specialty care locations * Robust research and innovation endeavors * An American College of Surgeons certified pediatric trauma center * The only inpatient/outpatient burn center in a 5-county service area The selected candidate will provide specialized family centered care for acutely ill/injured infants, children and teens in the Beeghly Emergency Department. The Emergency Department (ED) sees more than 38,000 visits annually. Enjoy practicing in a new 35,000 square foot, state-of-the-art ED, that features 23 treatment rooms. Our Beeghly campus ED collaborates with the Akron campus which is a designated level 1 trauma center. Akron Children's Hospital is the only pediatric hospital in northeast Ohio that has its own helicopter and pediatric transport team.
