ManpowerGroup Financial Analyst in Akron, Ohio

Job Title: Financial Analyst

Location: Akron, OH. Hybrid (2 days/week on-site. first 3 days of close on-site required)

Start Date: Immediate upon acceptance.

Overview:

Jefferson Wells is seeking two experienced Financial Analysts to join our team immediately for a long-term (12-18 months) contract engagement supporting our client in the manufacturing industry.

This is an excellent opportunity for financial professionals to engage in significant project work and ongoing accounting operations in a dynamic and supportive environment. If you have the required experience and skills, we encourage you to apply and join our team in this pivotal role.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide backfill support for current employees and fill skillset gaps within the team as needed.

  • Perform general accounting tasks including journal entries, account reconciliations,financial statement preparation, and other ad hoc activities.

  • Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth financial operations and accurate reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in accounting.

  • Strong knowledge of large accounting ERP systems, i.e. Oracle or SAP preferred. Large company ($500M+ revenue) experience required.

  • Manufacturing industry and cost accounting is highly desirable.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work in a hybrid work environment with specific on-site requirements.

  • No management experience is required.
