This position requires an experienced Transaction Advisory Services professional with strong interpersonal and supervisory skills. Our growing TAS practice provides tremendous career opportunities. Responsibilities Lead and manage multiple and challenging transaction advisory engagements (financial due diligence), working with cross-functional teams Source projects and develop leads to originate engagements Analyze target company data to identify historical and projected financial and operating trends, quality of earnings, and working capital considerations Deliver high-quality, detailed financial analysis to enable clients to make informed decisions regarding transactions Analyze trends in operating results and working capital Develop agendas and lead meetings with target management Prepare tailored written reports and supporting Excel schedules Coordinate with other service lines involved in the engagement Oversee project completion within budget Supervise, train and evaluate staff on engagements Manage the financial aspects of engagements by organizing staffing, tracking fees, and communicating issues to project leaders Maintain regular communications with the engagement team and client regarding project status and potential deal issues as they arise Participate in public speaking, article writing, and other thought leadership activities in the field of transaction advisory services Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or other related discipline 8+ years of relevant experience in delivering financial advisory, transaction advisory, or similar services CPA or related certification (CFA, etc.) Demonstrated experience managing and supervising teams through complex transactions Excellent problem solving, analytical and interpersonal skills Excellent technical accounting and reporting capabilities Experience interacting directly with senior client personnel Ability to work effectively and efficiently under the pressure of transaction deadlines Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously Willingness to travel as required Advanced MS Excel skills and strong working knowledge of other MS Office applications Excellent business acumen Self-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently #LI-MM1 Marcum LLP is an Equal Opportunity Employer Marcum LLP does not discriminate on the basis of race, ancestry, national origin, color, religion, sex, gender identity, age, marital status, sexual orientation, disability, veteran status, or any other protected classification under the law.
