CNC Team Leader - Akron, Ohio - JOB 24-00319 Hourly Rate: $30.00 - $35.00/HR Permanent Position with Benefits. Shift: Monday - Friday, 6am - 2:30pm, regular OT to be expected Our client company located in the Akron; Ohio area is seeking a CNC Team Leader. The CNC Team Leader provides daily work direction to CNC Manufacturing Operations. Complete machine set-ups and process adjustments to ensure optimal efficiency and minimize downtime. Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues. Identify training needs for the CNC Operator team. Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled. Run production to backfill operators as needed. Provides input for annual performance reviews. Requirements: • High school diploma or GED • Two (2) year technical degree/certificate in a CNC machining program, or equivalent. • Four (4) years' experience in a manufacturing/machining environment. (Automotive industry preferred) • Experience in CNC Machining (operation, setup, and fixturing preferred) • Hands-on operation experience with mills, lathes, drills, and vertical or horizontal machining centers • Experience/knowledge with 4 or 5-axis VMC and or HMC • Familiar with Fanuc Pro 3 or Pro 5 controller. • Experience with measuring and gauging equipment. • Must have excellent troubleshooting skills. • Must have excellent communications skills (written & verbal) Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
