WASHINGTON COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE Patrol Deputy Sheriff in AKRON, Colorado
POSITION: Patrol Deputy Sheriff
REQUIREMENTS: P.O.S.T. certification or P.O.S.T. certifiable is required, must be 21 years of age with a GED, or High School diploma, have a valid driver licens. Will undergo a criminal background check - must have NO felony convictions OR misdemeanor disqualifying convictions - ie: Domestic Violence or similar conviction. Must have the ability to use good judgment under highly stressful conditions. Need good customer service skills, writing and grammar skills.
PREFERRED SKILLS: Computer knowledge. Bi-lingual preferred, not required.
WAGE: $3500/mo.

DAYS AND HOURS: Rotating shifts Sunday through Saturday including holidays.
DUTIES: Patrol for local sheriff department under supervision of Sheriff and Undersheriff.
