Meta Site Logistics Operations Lead in Aiken, South Carolina

Summary:

Meta is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Site Logistics Operations Lead to join our team. In this critical leadership role, you will be responsible for ensuring the success of onsite operations by delivering core logistics functions and developing strategies and solutions to operational needs. You will work closely with local XFN leaders and unique on-site program managers in their respective partner organization supporting logistics operations. This position will possess influence on IBOS strategy and inputs while working closely with other IBOS teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data center operations at a tactical, operational, and strategic level and the role that IBOS field operations plays in supporting data centers.

Required Skills:

Site Logistics Operations Lead Responsibilities:

  1. Serve as the site level leader for logistics operations, working closely with other leaders to ensure the success of onsite operations through delivery of core logistics functions and developing strategies and solutions to operational needs

  2. Develop and deliver localized logistics strategies to support data center operations

  3. Maintain relationships with leadership onsite to drive site-wide success

  4. Develop and deliver against operational budgets, ensuring compliance with all SLA requirements

  5. Oversee month- and quarter-end DC Asset Audit requirements, ensuring appropriate financial reporting for the operations

  6. Manage third-party logistics team performance at respective data center, partnering with third-party teams to implement process improvements and best practices

  7. Gather and analyse feedback from their data center regarding needed changes/improvements/revamps of proposed and existing tools, processes, workflows

  8. Partner with Environmental Health and Safety to guarantee compliance with both Meta and Local safety requirements

  9. Identify waste in order to streamline processes and reduce excess materials

  10. Strive to refine and develop all logistics processes aligning with best practices and other analytical positions

  11. 10% travel required

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations management, business management and/or any other related field, or equivalent work experience

  2. 10+ years experience in data center logistics, production IT or similar environment

  3. Experience in as-is/to-be business process mapping, gap analysis, requirements elicitation and data analysis

  4. Experienced in cross-functional collaboration across multiple teams

  5. Experience working independently and managing time

  6. Communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience in a data center environment

  2. Experience in business analysis/program management

  3. Experience handling project management responsibilities (prioritization, planning, scheduling, status reporting)

  4. Experience in cross-functional projects across multiple teams

  5. Knowledge in Supply Chain process from Procure-to-Pay

  6. Knowledge with Supply Chain and Inventory management models

Public Compensation:

$138,000/year to $196,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
