Job Description

Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is looking for a highly motivated and goal-oriented Area Business Manager to join our Lab Equipment Division in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. In this role, you will have the opportunity to advance your career with the global leader in serving science. As an Area Business Manager, you will be instrumental in increasing sales, capturing market share, and meeting business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand customer base in the assigned territory

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and key opinion leaders

  • Identify new business opportunities and develop innovative strategies to capture market share

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine customer needs, market trends, and competitive intelligence

  • Ensure flawless execution of sales initiatives and provide exceptional customer service

  • Conduct regular business reviews and provide accurate sales forecasts and reports

  • Stay abreast of industry developments and trends to effectively compete in the market

Requirements

  • Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the scientific or laboratory equipment industry

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

  • Self-motivated and determined individual

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory

  • Candidate with Biotechnology/ Life Science background with MBA with experience in the life science Industry will be preferred .
