Oversee and support material availability to Honeywell Aerospace R&O (Repair & Overhaul) through management of Honeywell Interdivision Orders (IDO) for the Sky Harbor R&O facility. Site focal for stock transfer orders (STOs) from a variety of sister Honeywell sites, responsible to overcome near and long-term material availability obstacles, ensuring adequate supply of materials for site repair and overhaul operations. Measure and maintain Honeywell IDO performance by regularly reporting Sky Harbor R&O material availability metrics and drive opportunities for improvement. Clearly communicate committed delivery dates to leadership and the R&O site teams, ensuring that delays and parts at risk are quickly identified and escalated appropriately. Work with Planners/Buyers to expedite urgent orders when needed to meet customer delivery commitments, hold owners accountable for missed commitments, and help to identify appropriate recovery plans when necessary. Build strong relationships to help promote effective communication and support. Understand the needs of our repair shops, our customers, understand Honeywell IDO delivery commits, evaluate plant stock opportunity for interdivisional movement using SAP, and effectively communicate need and associated expectations for material availability to the R&O sites.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure material availability for Honeywell’s Repair & Overhaul sites through Honeywell interdivisional order creation, order management, and delivery coordination

  • Prioritize, negotiate, allocate, and communicate delivery dates, identifying critical shortages and delays that may require escalation

  • Work with site expeditors, schedulers, and Global Planning Network to overcome near term part constraints

  • Support and/or host allocation calls to ensure proper material allocation for needed available material

  • Provide the team, sites, or leadership with daily status on part shortages issues, resolution, or help needed

  • Review and help address supplier issues when necessary, ensure delivery to site and customer needs

  • Develop strong relationships with fellow buyers, encourage effective communication

  • Provide daily status on critical items to internal stakeholders

  • Small-scale project management in support of R&O

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Fluent in English, any other language a plus

  • Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements

WE VALUE

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)

  • Knowledge of and relevant experiences in SAP and/or other Procurement-related tools

  • Good at handling multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously, ability to prioritize, and problem solving
