Need 15 full time, temporary, seasonal Agricultural Equipment Operators to work in Adrian, MN. From: 02/15/2024 to 12/15/2024 Work: 48 hrs./week, Mon.-Fri. 8 hrs./day All work performed in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of time and a half. ESST Law: Effective January 1st, 2024, Employers must provide each employee with one hour of safe and sick leave, up to 48 hours in a year. Must Apply By: 07/17/2024 JOB DUTIES: Field preparation, tilling and planting the crops; spraying and caring for the crop during the growing season; harvesting and hauling the crop; operate farm equipment including tractors, sprayers, and other farm equipment; picking rocks in the fields; drive semi-trucks to haul the crops; complete routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and trucks; complete routine maintenance and repairs on farm buildings to assist with upkeep. Employer may provide performance bonuses at the end of the contract at the employer s discretion. Employer will provide tools, equipment and supplies at no cost to worker. JOB REQUIREMENTS: (3) months experience; able to perform work requiring extensive sitting, pushing, pulling, repetitive movements and exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures; regular (Class D) drivers license; no minimum education required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance; employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
