Your opportunity

We are currenting looking for the best and the brightest Civil, Structural and Electrical Engineering students to join KBR and explore what is possible for their future.

We have a fantastic opportunity for an undergraduate engineering student who is looking to kick start their career with an industry leading consultancy through the KBR Chief Engineer Scholarship. Through our scholarship program, you will have the opportunity to receive financial support valued at $7,500 AUD, distributed in two equal payments during your final two years of study. The scholarship also includes a 12 week paid summer internship and opportunity to join as a Graduate upon the completion of your degree.

Through our internship program, you will explore what’s possible for your future with hands-on, real-life experience on our full suite of projects and disciplines, with guidance and mentoring from experienced professionals who will help you grow into a leading professional in your sphere of expertise. Your on-the-job experience will be balanced with regular training that builds a solid foundation, setting you up to become a future leader in your field who’s technical skills shine.

You’ll also experience a healthy dose of fun at social activities and industry events through our IMPACT Program, connecting you with our national network of young professionals who share your excitement for the future.

About you

We are looking for an innovative thinker who cares about making an impact and continually searches for creative approaches to problem-solving. You are a team player who is passionate about collaborating to create the best solutions and make a lasting impact on the communities we serve.

To qualify, you must meet the following criteria to be considered for the scholarship

  • Bachelor of Engineering student studying Civil, Civil and Structural or Electrical (including double degrees or combined programs)

  • Undergraduate student in your third year of study

  • Studying Full time

  • Minimum GPA of 5.5

  • Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
