Are you a dynamic and driven professional with a solid background in transmission, distribution, and generation systems? Do you excel in technical discussions and have a knack for developing business opportunities? Our Siemens Grid Software Business Unit is seeking a Grid Software Business Developer to join our team in Australia and New Zealand. If you have experience using PSS®E, PSS®SINCAL, and other simulation tools, and you're ready to make a significant impact in the energy sector, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the complete sales process from pricing to contract negotiation.

  • Prepare technical solutions, offers, and define delivery concepts.

  • Create market demand and present business cases to customers and stakeholders.

  • Understand and clarify customer requirements, driving them into Siemens' technical concepts.

  • Write solution specifications and develop operation philosophies.

  • Detect local market requirements and collaborate with other Business Units and Headquarters.

  • Support technical queries and leverage solutions for new grids and market trends.

  • Promote the PSS software family to private and government customers.

  • Develop business opportunities by visiting internal and external customers in AUS and NZL.

About You:

  • Experience with PSS®E, PSS®SINCAL, and other simulation tools.

  • Strong knowledge of transmission, distribution, and generation systems.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to produce high-quality technical reports.

  • Proven experience in business development and customer engagement.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Understanding of market trends and the ability to leverage technical solutions.
