The Raymond Corporation Sr. Associate of Learning and Development - Addison, TX in Addison, Texas

The Training and Development Manager will be tasked with ensuring all employees, from hire and onboarding and throughout their careers, receive continuous learning and development opportunities. This role will partner closely with corporate and departmental leadership to identify growth opportunities and build programs and pathways that align with our organizational priorities and culture.

Program Curriculum and Development:

  • Shape comprehensive learning programs geared towards various learning groups, such as new hires, new supervisors and managers, corporate leadership and other specialty groups and departments within the organization.
  • Analyze and identify needs and requests to fill gaps in knowledge, processes, and compliance; determine building blocks of learning segments with specific learning outcomes to layer a continuous flow of development.
  • Establish specific learning objectives per program or course; compose content materials and identify appropriate methods for instruction/presentation and organize visuals and learning aids that support presentation method.
  • Work closely with department and corporate leadership to streamline current training and materials, and ensure all training meets company standards.
  • Develop and implement evaluation tools to measure training and content effectiveness and impact.

Training and Coaching:

  • Conduct in-person training sessions when deemed appropriate; facilitate larger learning events by organizing subject matter experts and serving as centralized contact for content gathering and creation.
  • Identify and develop train-the-trainer resources within the company; work directly with those individuals to maximize reach amongst remote and hybrid employees.
  • Partner with other subsidiaries and network companies to interweave and implement learning and training objectives.

Technical and System Management:

  • Serve as resident expert for company’s learning management system; engage in regular meetings with vendor providers to maximize system efficiency and use and stay adept in system enhancements.
  • Manage and directly input all programs, curriculums, and courses into the system for high-level overviews to:

  • Ensure Associate groups are enrolled in appropriate programs and courses.

  • Regularly audit within system completion rates and system functionality.
  • Ensure competencies and skills aligned with certain programs and courses meet development and succession planning.

Utilize other online resources to fulfill training and learning objectives as efficiently as possible, such as communication and content creation platforms.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, HR, education, organizational development, or related field of study
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant, hands-on experience
  • Previous experience engaging and connecting with company leaders
  • Proven experience building, managing, and delivering a continuous learning environment for all
  • Big picture thinker with ability to approach objectives strategically and drill down tactical responsibilities.
  • Ability to work effectively across different departments and teams; possess a reputation as a trusted and approachable advisor within an organization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High comfort level utilizing and engaging with technical resources.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills – ability to identify trends and source of process gaps to provide effective solutions.
