The OutSystems (Low Code) Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions using low-code development platforms. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into functional applications.  With a strong emphasis on communication, problem-solving, and proactive engagement, you will be instrumental in creating high-quality products, improving existing applications, and staying abreast of emerging technologies. This position requires a service-driven mindset, the ability to work autonomously within a team environment, and a commitment to continuous skill enhancement-all while ensuring customer satisfaction and driving innovation in IT solutions. 

Location: Hybrid environment between in office and remote.

RESULTS MEASURED BY THE FOLLOWING RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Outsystems (Low Code) Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions using low-code development platforms. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into functional applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement software solutions using low-code development platforms

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into functional applications

  • Test and debug applications to ensure high-quality deliverables; maintain and enhance existing applications to improve functionality and performance

  • Design and implement business logic, workflows, and user interfaces within low-code/no-code environments.

  • Integrate low-code/no-code solutions with existing systems and databases.

  • Ensure security and compliance standards are met when building applications.

  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and build workflow automation.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize and enhance low-code/no-code solutions.

  • Document application configurations, logic, and workflows for knowledge sharing.

  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to low-code/no-code applications.

  • Continuously evaluate and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of low-code/no-code solutions.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in low-code development

    SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred

  • 2+ years of experience developing software using OutSystems; demonstrated understanding of OutSystems best practices

  • Experience working with .NET, C#, XAML, HTML 5, CSS, JavaScript, SQL Server is a plus

  • A natural excitement for technology, developing, and delivering value

  • Forward thinker that considers the long-term, not just what is expected now

  • Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, REST API, and Test-Driven Development Practices

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

  • Basic knowledge of database concepts and data integration.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and adapt to evolving low-code/no-code technologies.

  • Certification in low-code/no-code platforms is a plus.

  • Strong problem solving, technical troubleshooting and decision-making skills
