Work Hours: Full Time, 40 hours

Department Highlights:

    Here is what you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience and/or a college degree in IT

  • Prior experience in a Healthcare technical environment preferred

  • Switching (Capacity Planning & VLAN’s)

  • Routing (OSPF, RIPv2, BGP)

  • WAN Technology (MPLS, VPLS, VPN)

  • Voice Technologies (POTS, VoIP, SIP Trunking)

  • Cisco CCNA/CCNP

  • Security software such as Anti-virus, Anti-SPAM, Anti-Spyware, and other security related technologies

  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills

  • Prior experience troubleshooting applications network performance issues.

    A Day in the Life of a Network Engineer:

  • Provide technical services and support for the following areas:

  • Network level: WAN and LAN data and voice connectivity, routers, switches, firewalls, security, and any network related appliance.

  • Internal systems, cloud, and network infrastructure.

  • Day-to- day support of Cisco Meraki

  • Remote access solution support for all VPN

  • Remote monitoring and management of system alerts and notifications.

  • Perform network assessments and security audits.

  • Participate in the administration and maintenance of the remote monitoring and management system: update agent scripts, respond to alerts, monitor dashboard, and periodic system review.

  • Assist in supporting VOIP and related VOIP technologies.

  • Document maintenance for all network infrastructure.

  • Provides after-hours and on-call coverage for IT systems as required by IT management.
