    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    This position is responsible for supervising work performed on systems ranging in difficulty from small basic commercial installations to large complex projects involving multiple HVAC systems. You will also assist in administrating the company safety program and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for overseeing/supervising work performed on commercial HVAC systems across multiple jobsites

  • Provide leadership and direction to field team, review work for completion and quality standards.

  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors as needed

  • Coordinate and schedule the day-to-day job activities of helpers and subcontractors in accordance with job specific scopes of work,

  • Monitor and resolve matters relating to work procedures, complaints, damages, accidents, and delays

  • Maintain a daily log for the job site’s operations, reporting to management as necessary

  • Make changes in the operation as approved by the Project Manager/Operations Manager

  • Implement management techniques that are cost-effective and efficient

  • Ensure safety standards are met and turn in safety reports required at the job-site or by GC

  • Schedule and meet with inspectors

  • Other projects and duties as assigned

    REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5 – 10 years of superintendent experience

  • 5 – 10 years of sheet metal experience

  • Multi-family experience a plus, but not required

  • Valid Driver’s License

  • Working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office

  • The ability to schedule projects and meet deadlines

  • Work in outside areas exposed to the weather and elements
