    Position Overview:

As a Service Technician at Staxmatic, you will play a crucial role in launching our projects, ensuring seamless execution, staying within budget, and delivering top-notch results that exceed our clients' expectations. The technician is responsible for completing proficient service in their respective divisions in a timely manner while fully utilizing the features of ServiceTitan and demonstrating five-star customer service.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform start-up duties (installing and programming field controllers, installing basic wiring and controls, sensors, thermostats, controllers, valves, actuators, and other HVAC control related equipment)

  • Install, clean, adjust, maintain, and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment

  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance activities, as well as warranty services

  • Travel to different businesses throughout the day

  • Conduct performance tests with specialized tools and adjust system settings 

  • Identify maintenance risks on equipment

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems

  • Discuss various options with clients when it comes to heating and cooling systems

  • Process and complete work orders

  • Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently

  • Comply with service standards, work instructions, and customers' requirements

  • Ensure compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act

  • Enter notes on all invoices in the Service Project Management Application

  • Other duties and projects as assigned
