We are seeking experienced lifeguards for the 2024 summer season at our condominium community in Acton, MA. If you are reliable and personable, love being outdoors and are motivated to safeguard others, then we want to talk with you!

We are looking for skilled lifeguards who would like to work at a highly regarded residential, family-orientated community. It is a beautiful, wooded location that offers a large swimming pool along with a shallow kiddie pool.

The Pools are open from Memorial Day through Labor Day from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and full and part-time shifts are available during these hours. Salary is based on experience. We offer either day or evening shifts, which include holidays and weekends.

All Lifeguards must be Red Cross Lifeguard and First Aid certified and be at least 16 years old. Additional pay incentives for those who work through Labor Day. Uniforms and whistle are provided. Not Certified? No problem! We will cover up to $300 for the cost of lifeguard and first aid certification programs for qualified candidates who work for us in the summer of 2024.

Pay Rate = $18.00 - $22.00 per hour, depending on experience

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Red Cross Lifeguard and First Aid certification

  • Age 16+

  • Strong swimmer, with physical fitness, endurance and strength.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the safety of all swimmers and residents in the pool area.

  • Communicating and maintaining compliance with facility and safety rules for residents/guests using the pool.

  • Cleaning and caring for the pool as needed.

  • Engaging responsibly and politely with residents and guests and acts as a role model for young children.

Working Conditions

  • Full time and Part time shifts are available, covering weekends, evenings, and holidays. Shifts include:

  • 10 a.m. - 8 p.m., or 10 a.m. -3:00 p.m./3 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. depending on schedule.

  • Part-time positions available (10 a.m. -3:00 p.m./3 p.m.- 8:00 p.m.).

Benefits

  • The site may pay for certification in some cases, if needed.

  • BONUS offered to those who work until Labor Day, 2024.
