Description

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides support and skills training to people with developmental and intellectual disabilities in a residential setting and within the community.

Meadow Lane is located in a quiet neighborhood in the small hamlet of Accord and is the home to three gentlemen. These men enjoy a variety of activities both at home and within the small community in which they live. DSP’s who love to be part of a small, cohesive team, and can bring creativity and enthusiasm to the job enjoy working at Meadow Lane.

A high school diploma or GED is desired. Post-high-school education in Human Services is a definite plus. An acceptable NYS driver's license and basic computer knowledge are a must. An informative, paid new hire orientation is provided in a comfortable learning environment. Training will also include Van Certification, SCIP, First Aid/CPR, and Medication Administration certification.

HOURS: 30/Sunday 9:00 am to 8:00 pm/Monday 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm/Wednesday 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm/Thursday and Friday 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm

STARTING SALARY: $ 17.51 to $ 19.27 per hour, with additional shift differentials as applicable

Minimum Requirements
