Amec Foster Wheeler PMC Site Piping Construction Supervisor in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

Wood are currently bidding for a large-scale oil and gas project with ADNOC. Should we be awarded this work, we will have a requirement for a PMC Site Piping Construction Supervisor to join us This position will be based at site onshore in Abu Dhabi, UAE

  • Create and sustain a good team spirit within the project team, Client and EPC Contractor

  • Enhance quality performance and improvement across the project through audits and surveillance

  • Establish, document and maintain a quality control system for PMC site activities

  • Liaise with the EPC Contractor as directed

  • Ensure assigned work is managed and delivered to Client satisfaction

  • Enhance and demonstrate commitment to raising HSE standards and proposing new initiatives or improvements

  • Monitor and review the implementation of the EPC Contractor’s site quality management system

  • Prepare project quality audit schedules and conduct project quality audits

  • Monitor and review site inspection and testing

  • Support other quality personnel in monitoring Contractor’s work execution during the construction phase

  • Maintain and monitor of all quality control activities

  • Participate in meetings as required

  • Diploma Degree in Engineering

  • Minimum 10 years’ post-graduation experience

  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry

  • Sour Gas and / or Sulphur site projects experience is required

  • Experience in site turnaround / shutdowns and tie-ins projects is required

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • HSE awareness and commitment

  • Prior PMC experience an asset

  • Prior Middle East experience an asset
