Summary:

Building Maintenance is responsible for ensuring the building, grounds, equipment and structures are in good working conditions. This position is also responsible for making repairs and performing preventative maintenance. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Repair building equipment as needed due to failure and/or inconsistent operation.
  • Responsible for overseeing maintenance of the facility and grounds.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on the facility and grounds as needed.
  • Know and understand emergency procedures in the event of equipment failure.
  • Responsible for maintaining the safety of the facility and all grounds.

Requirements

  • Technical or vocational degree in related field is strongly preferred
  • 1-3 years of related building maintenance experience is required
  • Basic electrical, plumbing and carpentry skills are required.
