SUMMARY Salary Range:$19.0000 Hourly Onwards

Job Description:

Glacial Lakes Energy (GLE), a corn ethanol industry leader, is seeking Plant Operators in our Aberdeen, SD location.

We will train you for a career with our certification program! You will earn an additional $2.50 per hour upon completion of certification program - which is achievable (and encouraged to be completed) in your first year of employment.

Starting wage is $19/hr PLUS $2/hr while working night shift.

We ran all four locations every day in 2020 and we had no need to lay off a single member of our team!

This position is responsible for the operation of a state of the art production facility.This includes start up, monitoring and shutdown of equipment, sampling and testing of the products, plant housekeeping and light maintenance. Foundedin 2001, GLE employs approximately 180 team members between four ethanol facilities locatedin Watertown, Huron, Aberdeen and Mina. You will work in a leading South Dakota producer of renewable fuels facility, be involved in method development and you'llcapitalize and build upon your industrial knowledge and skill base. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
  • Must be able to work 12 hour rotating shifts
  • Must be able to manage confined space entry, climb ladders and steps and lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Experience in plant production is helpful.
