NetSEA Technologies Test Engineer in Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland

Position Description:

NetSEA Technologies is seeking to fill multiple Test Engineer positions to support PEO C3T Tactical Network systems. Qualified candidates may be hired to serve in various departments or roles that align with their expertise and organizational needs. Clearance Level: US Citizen and with active Secret clearance (preferred)

Location: Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD

Hours: Normal business hours Monday – Friday

Hybrid Eligible: Yes-as determined by agency policy

Travel: upto 25%

Roles/Responsibilities:

As a Test Engineer you will use your expertise to:

Prepare and review test plans containing such information as type of test to be conducted, facilities required, proposed schedule, and estimated cost of project.

Conduct performance tests and evaluation of items/systems. Ensures sufficient equipment and resources (e.g. personnel) are available to perform tasks.

Coordinate testing requirements with other engineers or subject matter specialists, other PdMs or organizations for tests or facilities that are required for the test.

Analyze and evaluate technical data including instrumentation readings, calculations, deficiency reports, etc. to ensure valid results or obtain weaknesses or failures encountered and probable causes, suggested modification and design changes.

Analyze design and specification proposals of manufacturers to ascertain that they meet specified general requirements; makes recommendations as to feasibility of designs, time and cost estimates, and other technical phases proposed.

You Have:

BS in Engineering (Preferred), Testing or related field

A minimum of eight (8) to ten (10) years of related tactical network test engineering experience. BS may be substituted with an additional 7 years of related experience performing tactical network test engineering functions.

Knowledge of DoD, DA, acquisition, and ATEC T&E policies and regulations.

Knowledge of instrumentation systems, data collection and reduction techniques, commercial and military standards, and use of management information systems necessary to facilitate testing and evaluation.

Proven ability in applying data analysis techniques.

Ability to develop evaluation strategies to include application of design of experiments and modeling and simulation techniques.

Knowledge of the architecture, protocols, security, network management and physics underlying these systems.
