NetSEA Technologies Software Engineer- Security Clearance Required in Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland

NetSEA Technologies is currently seeking Software Engineer

Roles/Responsibilities:

System integration consists of upgrades, testing and configuration of network components on the Emulation Test Bed such as traffic stimulation (i.e., TGEN).

• Support system testing by performing various tasks such as test-scenario development, network traffic stimulation (e.g., TGEN), system configurations, test-run execution and monitoring, network-data capture, data storage, and post-test database generation.

• Data analysis entails analyzing the network data collected from the test runs and producing data products for management review.

This includes:

• Developing relevant performance metrics (e.g.,throughput, latency, packet completion rate, etc.);

• producing network topology graphs and correlating its impact on network connectivity during the test run; and

• Identifying anomalous network behavior and providing explanations and/or directions on how to resolve the issue.

• Develop and implement a test plan to validate major rewrite of a backend processor in C++.

• Design and develop new GUI screen to display network performance statistics.

• Updated the TRANCE backend PCAP parser to recognize packets from various VLAN locations.

• Develop automated and customized set of SQL queries to analyze network statistics.

• Troubleshoots external network issues as they arise.

• Performs other duties as required

Clearance Level: US Citizen and with active Secret clearance (preferred)

Location: Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD

Hours: Normal business hours Monday – Friday

Travel: Up to 25%

Requires Skills:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Computer Science or related field; work experience may substitute.
