NetSEA Technologies Senior Systems Engineer - Air and Missile Defense Command Systems in Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland

Position Description

NetSEA Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Air and Missile Defense Senior Systems Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design, development, integration, and testing of advanced defense systems. You will work collaboratively with a team of engineers to ensure the successful implementation of these systems, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.

To succeed in this role, you must have a solid understanding of air and missile defense concepts, as well as experience in system engineering and integration. You should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment. In addition, you should be a proactive and self-motivated individual, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Clearance Level: Must possess a DoD SECRET or higher clearance.

Location: Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD

Hours: Normal business hours Monday - Friday (telework opportunities)

Travel: up to 10%

Responsibilities

  • Conduct system requirements analysis and develop system architecture designs.

  • Lead and participate in system design, development, integration, and testing activities.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system interoperability and performance.

  • Develop and maintain system documentation, including design specifications and test plans.

  • Identify and resolve technical issues and provide technical guidance to junior team members.

  • Perform system performance analysis and optimization.

  • Support system verification and validation activities, including test execution and data analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in systems engineering of Air and Missile Defense Command Systems.

  • Familiar with other mission command systems.

  • Strong knowledge of air and missile defense concepts, including radar systems, interceptors, and command and control systems.

  • Proficiency in system engineering processes and methodologies.

  • Experience in system design and integration, including requirements management and verification.

  • Familiarity with modeling and simulation tools for system analysis and design.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
