NetSEA Technologies Senior Contracts Specialist in Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland

Position Description:

NetSEA Technologies is seeking to fill multiple Senior Contracts Specialist positions to support PEO C3T Tactical Network systems. Qualified candidates may be hired to serve in various departments or roles that align with their expertise and organizational needs. Clearance Level: US Citizen and with active Secret (preferred)

Location: Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD

Hours: Normal business hours Monday – Friday

Hybrid Eligible: Yes-as determined by agency policy

Travel: This position involves approximately 25% travel.

Roles/Responsibilities:

As a Senior Contracts Specialist you will use your expertise to:

Prepare acquisition documents that reflect technical and operational requirements for Government approval. The documents include: service contract approvals requests (SCAs), PWSs, Statements of Work (SOWs), Statements of Objective (SOOs), labor category descriptions, Justification and Approval Documents (J&As), independent Government cost estimates (IGCEs) and quality assurance surveillance plans (QASPs), acquisition plans (APs) and acquisition strategies (ASs), limited competition memos such as use of non-DoD contract vehicles, sole source justifications, and QASPs; provide input in the proposal evaluation process, supports PEO IEWS in the post-award by preparing monthly status updates and funds expended to-date and variance analyses intended to highlight any significant issues requiring Government action; facilitates the processing of contract invoices through Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF).

Enter data into portfolio management data base application, review data for accuracy and provide reports that have been validated and corrected.

Provide a variety of acquisition support, to include, but limited to, research of contracting types, program planning, tracking milestones, assisting lower level Acquisition Specialists, Federal Acquisition Regulation guidance.

You Have:

Bachelor's Degree; BS in Business, Economics or related field preferred.

A minimum of ten (10) to twelve (12) years of related experience in developing supporting contract formation specialist functions as well as procurement documentation such as, but not limited to, the following: Service Contract Act Requests, Performance Work Statements, Statements of Work, Statements of Objectives, Labor Category Descriptions, Justification and Approval documents, Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans, Acquisition Plans and Acquisition Strategies. This minimum experience must be with DoD Program Executive Office (PEO), Project Manager (O6 PM) or Product Manager (O5 PdM) to be considered applicable to this requirement.

Nice if you have:

CFCM, CPCM, or CCCM certifications preferred.

DAWIA or FAC-C Level II or III preferred.
