CACI is seeking a Journeyman RF Simulation Engineer to support a program at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. If you have a background in Electrical Engineering, Mathematics/Physics, or Electronic Warfare (EW) with a desire to perform modeling & simulation on a critical large-scale contract we would like to speak with you.
This is a 100% on-site position at the ARAT Lab in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. Telework or remote work is not available.
As a RF Simulation Engineer you will be tasked with supporting the ARAT-Software Engineering Activity (ARAT-SE) Hardware Team for Post Deployment/Production Software Support (PDSS/PPSS) of U.S. Army Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) and Target Sensing Systems (TSS).
What you’ll get to do:
With training you will interpret parametric data and descriptions of both mechanical and RF capabilities of a system
Understanding how the system functionally operates and use that information to create radar emitter simulations
Discern which design and functional characteristics of radar systems affect which characteristics of an emitted radar signal
Learn to develop test plans per provided requirements, execute the testing to support all test phases, perform test analysis, troubleshoot errors and develop test reports
More about the role:
The primary focus of this position is to provide RF Simulation and Test Engineering support for assigned ground and airborne Electronic Warfare Systems (EWS) as part of the Army Reprogramming Analysis Team - Program Office (ARAT-PO) efforts for providing Post Deployment Software Support (PDSS) and Post-production Software Support (PPSS) pursuant to Army regulations.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
An active DoD Secret clearance, with the ability to upgrade to TS/SCI
A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or other Engineering or Technical discipline
2-3 Years of relevant technical experience in coding, programming, and/or modeling & simulation
Strong RF Theory and applications knowledge
Object Oriented Programming experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, resourceful, and able to work independently
Ability to complete tasks/projects with great attention to detail
Excellent Communication Skills, both Oral and Written
Comfortable using standard Windows and Office tools
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
An active DoD TS/SCI Security Clearance
Knowledge and understanding of RF Engineering and Electronic Warfare (EW)
Experience with RF test equipment
Knowledge of Radar Systems and/or Radar Theory
Knowledge of RF Simulation
Experience with RF simulators
Matlab, Python, C/C++, and/or Java coding experience.
Experience with Microsoft Office products; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project
Able to digest new technical information at a rapid pace for practical use
Flexibility to work with changing requirements as developed and communicated from customer feedback
Eagerness to improve efficiency and streamline procedures

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$75,200 - 158,100 USD
