Summary This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This Logistics Management Specialist, NH-0346-03 position is assigned to PEO-C3T, Project Manager Tactical Network, Product Manager Satellite Communications (PdM SATCOM) located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. Responsibilities Manage the planning, development, and execution of Integrated Product Support (IPS) for major complex systems that encompass new and emerging technologies or complicated fielding requirements. Responsible for cradle to grave intensive product support management to support complex, major weapon systems from concept through field deployment. Plans for and manages Transition to Sustainment. Manages the processes of planning, directing, managing, monitoring, and evaluating Integrated Product Support throughout the acquisition lifecycle. Develops and ensures the implementation of corrective actions and changes to the product support strategy to reflect new requirements and technologies. Coordinates with stakeholders of other commands, DOD components, and contractors. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Who May Apply: US Citizens In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as the following duties: 1) Leading the planning, development, and execution of integrated product support for materiel acquisition programs as outlined in Army and DoD regulations. 2) Leading the development and authoring of acquisition logistics products/documents and ensuring by-in through key stakeholder management; 3) Developing and managing cross-organizational integration of product support strategies on a portfolio of communications equipment. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-02 or GS11).
