The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a cleared Test Engineer who will be supporting test events and testing current and emerging technologies to one of our US Army customer under the Cryptographic Modernization Branch (CMB) at Aberdeen, MD.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for applying interdisciplinary engineering skills in the technical planning, systems integration, verification and validation, cost and risk and supportability and effectiveness analyses for complex solutions or products.
Use Software Defined Radios to test and evaluate the security of Army equipment.
Develop sophisticated scripts for security testing.
Conduct Site Surveys.
Qualifications:
Required:
An active DoD Secret clearance.
Experience with COMSEC infrastructure, devices, applications, and protocols (e.g., EKMS, KMI, MGC, SKL, TKL, iApp, JENM, ACES, Atom, End Cryptographic Units, OTNK).
Experience writing test plans, test procedures, and test reports.
Knowledge of COMSEC operations, policies, and PKI.
Understands network and RF protocols.
Experience interfacing with vendors and other government Stakeholders to include senior leadership.
Supports Army, DoD, and NSA Key Management Working Groups.
Willing to travel up to 25%, this may include multiple weeks.
Comfortable in a lab environment.
Experienced with problem-solving, identifying risk, and communicating results and recommendations to coworkers, management, and customers.
Tier 3 Help Desk Troubleshooting skills, from incoming request, documentation into help desk software database, resolving request to user satisfaction.
Test for security vulnerabilities in the code of Army and DOD used applications and products.
Develop a more thorough testing plan and procedure. Allowing for more detailed testing cycles.
Install and Configure replaced legacy ECU’s with modern cryptographic equipment.
Conduct Interoperability testing of SW/HW configuration.
Install, maintain, and configure strap settings and loaded keys for cryptographic devices.
Desired:
Highly desired skills include Army MGC Trained and Certified.
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
Accredited B.S, Electrical Engineering.

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$75,200 - 158,100 USD
