ENGINEER

The Engineer (intermediate and senior positions) will provide SETA support to Tactical Networks at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), MD.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, implement, and document engineering, integration, and readiness processes and procedures for PEO C3T Tactical Network systems.

  • Prepare documentation and maintain Configuration item baselines.

  • Participate and assist in the coordination of the integrated product team and other technical forums at the PM TN, PEO C3T and subordinate agency level.

  • Coordinate with program, project and product management offices to assess the efficacy of the engineering and integration processes. Independently evaluates, selects and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, and makes minor adaptations and modifications.

  • Assist in management, maintenance and automating of Configuration Management tools. Maintain proper version controls of software deliverables.

  • Oversee the delivery of software applications in test and deployment environments. Analyze configuration issues and propose appropriate resolutions

  • Ability to participate in design reviews, configuration audits, and evaluations of software products to ensure proper identification, control, and status accounting of the software baseline for each system.

  • Knowledgeable of Army organization structure and Unit Task Organization concepts.

  • Effectively communicate and lead integrated project team(s).

  • Provides independent and professional support on portions of complex projects.

    QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 3 year of engineering experience in Tactical Network design, integration, automation and documentation.

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field (years of experience may be substituted for degree)

    SECURITY CLEARANCE

  • Active DoD Secret clearance required

    TRAVEL

  • Some travel may be required
