Job Location: Aberdeen, MD Job Clearance: Secret Job Description : Install, configure, and maintain an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), data communications network, operating systems, and physical and virtual servers. Perform system monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems. Review system and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups. Analyze network and server resource consumption and control user access. Install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses. Project specific: responsible for the acquisition, installation, maintenance, and usage of the organization's local area network. Manages network performance and maintains network security. Performs data backups and recoveries. Monitors and maintains continuity with system software licensing and maintenance agreements. Provides recommendations regarding hardware and system software planning and budgeting. Maintains production change control schedule and participates in change control. Desired Qualifications: Needs a cross-functional basis of knowledge on Signal Modernization products including DIRECT and 4G efforts. Travel is required up to 40% of the time.
