SAIC Knowledge - Configuration Management Technician in ABERDEEN, Maryland

Description

SAIC is seeking a Knowledge/Configuration Management Technician to support of the Information Analysis Center Multiple Award Contract (IAC MAC) and Task Order (TO) under the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDEVCOM), Engineering and Systems Integration (ESI) Directorate, Quick Reaction Capability (QRC) Branch.

Position is located in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for product design changes and the effects of the overall system

  • Assist in documenting and tracking all aspects of system development and modifications

  • Ensures configuration identification by reviewing design release documents for completeness and proper authorizations

  • Prepares deviations and waivers for government approval when specifications cannot be met

  • Reviews all issued document change requests, document change notices and associated drawings for accuracy, completeness and proper signatures

  • Submits engineering changes to customers for review and approval; maintains records and submit reports regarding status

  • Serves as organization spokesperson on advanced projects and/or programs.

  • Acts as advisor to management and customers on advanced technical research studies and applications.

  • Exhibits an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree and two (2) years experience; four (4) years of experience are accepted in lieu of a degree

  • Experience with the Agile Methodology

  • Configuration Management Plan Experience

  • Experience with Configuration Control Board

  • Configuration Management Database Experience

  • Experience with Engineering Change Requests

  • Knowledge Management Experience

  • Microsoft TEAMS & SharePoint Experience

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Familiarity with GITLAB

  • Wind Chill Experience

  • SolidWorks Experience

  • Clear Case Experience

REQUIRED CLEARANCE:

  • Must have an active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI
