Position Title:  Engineering (General) V - (SECRET CLEARANCE)

Position Start:  April 22, 2024 (Pending Contract Award)

Position Summary: MILVETS is currently seeking to fill a full time  Engineering (General) V  - (SECRET CLEARANCE) position. The Engineering (General) V  will be supporting the government at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop, implement, and document engineering, integration, and readiness processes and procedures for PEO C3T Tactical Network systems.

  • Prepare documentation and maintain Configuration item baselines.

  • Participate and assist in the coordination of the integrated product team and other technical forums at the PM TN, PEO C3T and subordinate agency level. 

  • Coordinate with program, project and product management offices to assess the efficacy of the engineering and integration processes.

  • Independently evaluates, selects and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, and makes minor adaptations and modifications.  Assist in management, maintenance and automating of Configuration Management tools. Maintain proper version controls of software deliverables. Oversee the delivery of software applications in test and deployment environments. Analyze configuration issues and propose appropriate resolutions. Must be capable of participating in design reviews, configuration audits, and evaluations of software products to ensure proper identification, control, and status accounting of the software baseline for each system. Brings knowledge of Army organization structure and Unit Task Organization concepts. Has ability to effectively communicate and lead integrated project team(s). Provides independent and professional support on portions of complex projects. 

    Qualifications:BS in engineering, testing or related field, Engineering, or related scientific /technical discipline

    Experience:  A minimum of ten (10) year of engineering experience in Tactical Network design, integration, automation and documentation.

    Clearance:    Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; an Active United States Department of Defense Secret clearance is required.
