Amentum Administrative Assistant (Senior) in Aberdeen, Maryland

Amentum is now hiring for several Administrative Assistant (Senior) positions in support of the Product Director Sensors – Aerial Intelligence (PD SAI) office at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD and Ft Belvoir, VA. This project will provide the U.S. Army, U.S. Army Program Executive Office Intelligence, Electronic Warfare and Sensors (PEO IEW&S) services to include programmatic/business management services, engineering support services, and acquisition / administrative support services to augment PD SAI core Government personnel and turn-key solutions to support the missions of PD SAI and its associated Product Managers and customers. This support will be conducted in close coordination with Government project leads within PD SAI.

This position is pending funding.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

The candidate will work closely with the client to perform the following:

  • Coordinate and document travel, expense reports, meetings and conferences.

  • Provide administrative support essential for the systems engineering and architecture development processes, including preparation, review, compliance monitoring, progress evaluation, schedule compliance, and technical assessments.

  • Perform a wide variety of administrative services including but not limited to:

  • Schedule meetings

  • Manage calendars

  • Take and prepare meeting note

  • Review documents

  • Ability to handle normal non-technical and technical office administrative tasks.

  • Demonstrate ability to type highly specialized technical reports rapidly and accurately.

  • Maintain property book and other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Minimum of seven years’ experience (five years of military experience can be substituted as related experience).

  • Must have an active Secret Clearance. Please note US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability in Microsoft systems (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Past experience working in PD SAI or PEO IEW&S systems / projects.

Compensation:

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $80,000 - $85,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.).
