The Opportunity

Based at our corporate headquarters in Abbott Park, IL we have an opportunity for a ­­Treasury Manager within our Global Treasury Operations team. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Global Treasury Operations and is a great opportunity for a detail oriented Treasury professional with strong project management skills.

What You Will Work On:

  • Lead Abbott entity KYC process and compliance with Dodd-Frank, EMIR, FinCEN and other regulatory requirements

  • Support short and long term cash forecasting and rolling LBE process to ensure proper financial liquidity

  • Provide backup support to Cash Managers

  • Identify and co-ordinate operational improvements

  • Lead bank account automation projects as required

  • Lead Bank Fee analysis process

  • Facilitate Treasury activities, including processing of wire transfers and ACH payments

  • Perform daily cash reconciliations as required

  • Assist with confirmation and settlement of FX transactions as required

  • Lead merchant account opening and corresponding documentation process

  • Provide support to Abbott businesses with credit card processing account requirements

  • Support Letter of Credit and Guarantee issuance process and required documentation

  • Maintain bank account controls and documentation

  • Lead business compliance with Treasury Financial Policies

  • Assist users with monthly netting process

  • Assist with Sarbanes-Oxley and Audit activities

  • Assist management with acquisition, integration and divestiture special projects as requested

  • Serve as a liaison between Treasury, IT and numerous business organizations including Accounting, Payroll, AP and AR.

  • Provide ad-hoc support to all groups for Treasury related activities

  • Assist with SWIFT global implementation

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or finance required. MBA or advanced degree in business, finance or management preferred

  • Experience in Corporate Treasury, Corporate Accounting, Corporate Finance or Commercial/Investment Banking (7 – 10 years)

  • Effectively manage complex projects from start to finish (organized and detail-oriented)

  • Collaborate well in a team environment (interpersonal skills)

  • Experience with MS Office, SAP Treasury, and TMS strongly preferred.

The base pay for this position is $95,000.00 – $190,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
