Treasury Wine Estates Senior Functional Consultant in 3000 Melbourne, Australia

About the role

Reporting to the Functional Consultant Manager, this role undertakes new business and project objectives focusing on enhancing and supporting JD Edwards 9.2 in the Sales & Distribution and Advanced Pricing areas. This role will be involved in the completion of JD Edwards 9.2 implementation activities as part of the broader JDE team and work closely with external providers and internal stakeholders.

Note: This role can be based in Melbourne, Adelaide or Sydney and it is a 12 month-fixed-term contract

  • Solely accountable for primary support and QA of JD Edwards 9.2 Sales & Distribution and Advanced Pricing modules

  • Own JD Edwards 9.2 system requirements through interactions with internal users and external providers

  • Ownership of all projects and support demand on JD Edwards 9.2 and be accountable for providing the best JD Edwards 9.2 solution

  • Participate in the end-to-end changes to JD Edwards 9.2

  • On occasion lead a cross-functional team, to analyse business issues and initiatives to define requirements, identify, recommend, and implement JDE solutions

About you

With a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field or equivalent experience, you will have solid experience in a functional and/or consultancy role with work experience in JD Edwards 9.2 utilising SDLC delivery methods.

  • Experience with business process mapping and optimisation

  • Experience in SDLC methodology

  • Demonstrated examples of implementing system improvement recommendations

  • Demonstrated examples of analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Well-rounded project management and communication skills
