Resident Assistants - Seasonal Opportunity

The Wesley Community welcomes students seeking summer employment in the senior care and/or healthcare field to work as Resident Assistants . This is an opportunity to gain hands-on, relevant experience while earning a competitive wage!

Full Time - Part Time - Per Diem | All Shifts

* Pay rate between $16.50-$21.26hour! * (based on experience and shift differential)

What will I do as a Resident Assistant for The Wesley Community?

  • Provide health care tasks, personal hygiene services, housekeeping tasks, and other related support services essential to the client's health.

  • Record and report changes of the client's physical condition, behavior, or appearance to the Director of Clinical Services.

  • Perform light housekeeping duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, & sweeping.

  • Assist with bathing, dressing, and grooming.

  • Assist with transfer and ambulation including the use of a cane, walker, and wheelchair.

  • Assist client with miscellaneous household duties.

  • Assist residents with the administration of medications as ordered by their physician and as defined in the medication policies and procedures.

    Resident Assistant Requirements :

  • High school diploma or GED, preferred.

  • Must be 18 years of age.
