Amazon Program Manager, Product Sales Launch Management in Zapopan, Mexico

Description

Play a key role in launching new Amazon products such as Echo and Alexa-enabled devices, Fire TVs, Kindle eReaders, and Fire Tablets around the globe!

The Amazon Devices team is recruiting Program Managers to plan and execute large scale product launches across Amazon global teams. This is an excellent opportunity to be a critical part of the innovation we deliver to delight our customers.

As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for working with different business owners and product managers across the organization to define the requirements and timelines for launching new products. You will lead cross-functional teams to define and/or execute technical and non-technical solutions to ensure our products are available for customers to buy online and at retailers, offering a great customer experience.

The right person for this role is highly capable of leading through influence across business, operations, and technology. You have a track record of delivering complex projects and have impressed your stakeholders with your ability to communicate both written and verbally. You have demonstrated problem solving capabilities across both technical and non-technical teams.

Drives end-to-end delivery of multiple workstreams to enable on-time launch of product detail pages

About the team

The team provides launch management for Amazon Devices and their accessories across new and existing marketplaces in both online and offline channels. Our services include product expansions, roadmap planning, ASIN/catalog management until launch, launch readiness coordination, and announce-day and release-day execution.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience

  • 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience

  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

  • Advanced conversational and written English Level

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
