Job Description

Currently seeking a Production Manager for a full-time permanent position in Webster, MA.

Responsibilities of Production Manager:

-Create and manage employee shift schedule including workstation assignments and rotations

-Coordinate production activities to ensure most efficient production processes are being completed

-Train, evaluate, and provide feedback to all workers

  • Responsible for leadership and development of teams

-Monitor work flow and make necessary adjustments as needed to ensure customer demands and delivery deadlines are being met

-Maintain inventory levels of materials and supplies

Identify and troubleshoot sewing issues

Schedule maintenance and repairs as needed

Communicate expectations with team

Maintain all necessary documentations

Implement cost-saving initiatives

Requirements of Production Manager:

-Associates degree or equivalent required

-Bachelor s degree in textiles, industrial engineering, business or a related field preferred

-Minimum 4 years supervisory or managerial experience in a sewing production environment

-Training in Lean Six Sigma a plus

-Possess strong knowledge of manufacturing sewing techniques, equipment, and materials

-Excellent leadership skills

-Strong verbal and written communication skills

-Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment

-Good computer skills including Microsoft office software

-Bilingual in Spanish a plus

-Great attention to detail and organizational skills

Pay Rate: $80, 000-$90, 000/year based on experience
