Thrive Support and Advocacy Individual Support Worker in Worcester, Massachusetts

We need conscientious, caring, and dedicated staff to assist developmentally disabled adults with achieving an optimum quality of life while living independently in their communities. Our Individual Support Team is driven to provide personalized support and care for persons living at home in the community. The area of this workload is in the Worcester, MA area, including Worcester and surrounding towns. Responsibilities: \ Provide transportation to daily activities \ Take individuals to medical appointments and provide support \ Offer guidance in managing household responsibilities \ Assistance with money management \ Spend time with individuals in the community, enjoying activities \ Always show care and compassion \ Basic report writing and filing Requirements: \ High school diploma or equivalent \ Able to self-direct and work independently \ Valid driver\'s license \ Reliable transportation \ Adequate reading, writing, and oral communication skills \ Ability to pass background checks \ Ability to complete required trainings in a timely fashion, with support Job Type: Part-time or Full-time with opportunities for advancement; mileage compensation.
