BIO RAD LABORATORIES - 390 Supply Assurance Buyer III in Woodinville, Washington

As a Supply Assurance Buyer III, you'll be an integral part of the Bio-Rad Global Supply Chain Group, managing supplier relationships to optimize supply chain efficiency. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, you'll negotiate/purchase goods and services of moderate complexity needed in support of a manufacturing facility. Source products/services and conduct RFQ's and RFPs of moderate complexity. You'll also interact with Accounts Payable personnel to assist in reviewing and investigating invoices for timely payments to vendors. You'll also partner with Supplier Quality Engineers to obtain required quality documents from vendors and well as monitor supplier's performance. You'll build and maintain meaningful and strategic business relationships with suppliers and conduct periodic business reviews. The Global Supply Chain team is responsible for promptly and accurately getting Bio-Rad products into the hands of our customers. We maintain product integrity from end to end and respond expeditiously from the moment an order is received. As a result, customers around the globe receive the test kits, instruments, and consumable solutions they need - on time and in full to ultimately provide better healthcare and outcomes for their patients. How You'll Make An Impact: Source products and services and achieve best pricing of products and services that meet the stakeholders' requirements. Establish relationships with vendors, Source products and services and achieve best pricing of products and services that meet the stakeholders' requirement Monitor inventory/stock levels to support production and inventory goals. Issues material purchase orders to support production. Identifies and resolves potential supply problems. Develop contingency plans for critical goods and services to eliminate or minimize disruptions in supply and services Actively manage workflow in SAP system. Works with appropriate parties to resolve invoice issues to minimize overdue invoices and ensure supply availability Introduce and manage efficiencies through effective purchasing. Participate in supplier audits / Business Review Develop and implement improvement programs for the low performing suppliers What You Bring: Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Procurement or Supply Chain Management, or related discipline. Work Experience: Minimum of three years procurement experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office (Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint). Oral and written communication, negotiation, problem solving, organizational and multitasking skills, SAP experience preferred.
