American Tower Sr Analyst Reporting in Woburn, Massachusetts

The Team

We are seeking a Senior Reporting Analyst to join American Tower’s Finance Data Analytics (FDA) team. The FDA team partners with internal stakeholders to provide actionable insights and recommendations through analytics and storytelling. Day to day you will deliver and interpret reporting that promotes overall business effectiveness and efficiency. As a Senior Reporting Analyst you will interface with business teams to understand key objectives and partner with report developers to deliver analytical products. You will prepare and use dashboards and reports, complete ad hoc requests, and serve as a liaison between the business team, report developers, and other reporting analysts throughout different functional areas.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree required, with a concentration in Finance, Business, Math, Statistics or a related quantitative discipline preferred.

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a data analysis role required.

Other Requirements

  • Advanced proficiency in data analytics and reporting tools such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle Analytics, Power BI, or Tableau required.

  • Self-starter with outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Must be meticulous, detail-oriented, and dependable.

  • Strategic mindset to align data capabilities with business objectives

  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills across multiple stakeholders.

  • Strong business acumen and demonstrated ability to translate data insights into actionable business recommendations, using visualization and storytelling.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex data insights to stakeholders.

  • Ability to handle multiple projects and easily adapts to new and changing situations.

  • Experience in the real estate or telecom infrastructure industry is a plus.

  • RDBMS, SQL, Python, R or machine learning experience is a plus.

What You Can Offer Us

  • Work with internal customers to identify requirements and develop reporting and analytics to meet business needs

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements as well as documenting solution needs to ensure data accuracy of deliverables.

  • Analyze performance metrics and KPIs to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas of risk.

  • Prepare and present reports and dashboards to leadership, summarizing key findings, trends, and performance metrics.

  • Proactively identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and efficiency gains within the Finance department

  • Conduct root cause, statistical trend and gap analyses to identify efficiency opportunities in internal processes using technical and analytical expertise

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to reporting and analytics

  • Other duties as assigned.
