Sentech, Inc. Mechanical Engineer in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania

Will perform engineering duties in planning and designing mechanical equipment. Specifically will:

 

• Design and develop components and assemblies for Linear Variable Differential Transformers (LVDTs), Rotary Variable Differential Transformers (RVDTs), Solenoids, Signal Conditioners, and other electromagnetic products.

 

• Perform structural analysis, failure mode analysis, reliability predictions and tolerance stack ups for mating parts and assemblies for internal design reviews and for external, customer design reviews.

 

• Collaborate with internal and external manufacturing personnel to design products for ease of assembly and enhanced quality.

 

• Create 3D models, 2D drawings, Bills Of Materials (BOMs), manufacturing instructions and testing steps.

 

• Design and assemble fixtures and tooling for testing and then use the test equipment to perform qualification testing and production testing to validate product designs.

 

• Inspect new parts, create inspection reports, conduct audits, and follow document control procedures to comply with Sentech quality standards to meet ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100:D.
