LYCOMING HOUSING Property Maintenance Technician III in WILLIAMSPORT, Pennsylvania

Lycoming Housing Authority is accepting applications for a full-time Property Maintenance Technician III. In general this position requires a wide variety of duties such as preparing vacant units for occupancy and performing preventative maintenance in buildings, units and grounds. Responsibilities include painting, cleaning, drywall repair, minor electrical, plumbing and other duties for the purpose of maintaining or remodeling residential units and common areas.

Instructions to the employee are generally specific; however, the employee must be able to evaluate work and make changes as needed to complete the task on a daily basis without the presence of a supervisor. The successful candidate must be able to work well with others within the team to accomplish the overall goals of the company. The Housing Authority offers an excellent benefit package to include a retirement (100% company funded), health benefits, and vacation time.

Minimum Qualifications include:

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • Valid Pennsylvania driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Must be able to carry our written and oral instruction. Must be a strong proponent of the "team" concept and function accordingly.
  • Employee will occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.
  • Applicant must be able to provide Act 33 and 34 Clearances prior to hire.
  • Applicant will be required to submit to a drug test.
  • On a rotating basis, 24-hour on-call.
