Job Description As directed by the Foreman or Lead, the Journeyman is responsible for performing maintenance/installations at active gas and oil plants/pads. He/she performs necessary electrical work in accordance with plans and specifications. Work will consist of installation, alterations, additions and or/repairs of electrical systems, conductors and associated materials and equipment within Gas and Oil electrical construction industry. Journeymen will also maintain a level of safety on the project that ensures adherence and compliance to all client specific requirement as well as and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We are looking for driven, disciplined, improvement-oriented individuals who take accountability for the quality and quantity of their work, whether working alone or with a crew.

Key Qualifications: Take direction from the Foreman and Lead Knowledge and ability to read blueprints and/or technical diagrams in the gas and oil environment. Knowledge of and ability to install and/or maintain wiring, motor control wiring and circuits, and lighting systems in the gas and oil environmen Knowledge of and ability to install, maintain and/or troubleshoot Automation/PLC wiring in the gas and oil environment. Knowledge of and ability to install, maintain and/or troubleshoot VFD wiring in the gas and oil environment. Knowledge and ability to inspect electrical components, such as motor control circuits in the gas and oil environment. Knowledge of and ability identify electrical problems using a variety of testing devices in the gas and oil environment.
