Job Details Job Location Remote - Wenatchee, WA Remote Type Fully Remote Position Type Part Time   Salary Range $45.00 - $50.00 Hourly Travel Percentage Negligible Description Position Summary: The Communications Specialist will support the Development Team by writing and editing appeals and other materials and assisting with the production of presentations and videos. Responsibilities: Work with the Development Team to support Catholic Charities community outreach and fund development. Work with the Director of Development to develop strategies for fund-raising campaigns Write and edit copy for appeals, letters, newsletters, and other materials to support the efforts of Development and Communications Gather stories, interview clients, and work with a professional videographer to produce videos for internal use and for the Development Team's outreach efforts and fund-raising events Provide writing coaching to members of the Development Team as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Requirements: The following requirements are those that are normally required for performance of this position. These physical demands are required up to 90% of the time. Non-Physical Requirements: Education Bachelor's degree in relevant area (i.e., Communications, English, Journalism, etc.) Required Experience Five years of experience working in communications and public relations required. Special Skills Strong writing and communications skills Ability to work with a as a team member in the spirit of collaboration Ability to maintain confidentiality Availability for flexible scheduling Proficient with Microsoft Word and Power Point Licensure, Registration, or Certification Valid Washington State driver's license and minimum required liability insurance for WA State Employment is conditional upon: Being cleared by criminal background check and fingerprinting when required Excited about this role, but don't meet 100% of the expected qualifications listed above?
