Stormwater Engineer 

KEITH is seeking a skilled and motivated Stormwater Engineer to join our dynamic Team and strengthen our growing firm. The successful candidate will play a key role in the planning, design, and implementation of stormwater management projects. We specialize in providing innovative engineering services aimed at addressing the complex challenges associated with stormwater management. Our mission is to design resilient and environmentally conscious stormwater solutions that enhance communities and protect natural resources.

What you'll do:

  • Design and evaluate stormwater management systems, including detention/retention basins, green infrastructure, infiltration practices, and erosion control measures, using engineering principles and modeling software.

  • Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for stormwater projects in compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

  • Collaborate with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to facilitate project approvals and permits.

  • Provide technical support during construction, including reviewing plans, conducting site inspections, and addressing issues that arise.

  • Conduct site assessments and hydrologic analyses to evaluate existing stormwater infrastructure and identify areas for improvement.

  • Conduct research and stay current with advancements in stormwater management technologies and best practices.

  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to the professional development of the team.

Ideal Civil Engineer Candidate Has:

  • B.S. in Civil Engineering

  • EIT or PE in Florida

  • Ability to multi-task under rigid deadlines

  • Pro-active, enthusiastic, self-starter with a good attitude who pays attention to details and is willing to work in a supportive, fast-paced environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills are essential, as is the ability to work with clients and colleagues at all levels
