PeopleReady Sheet Metal Installer in West Hartford, Connecticut

PeopleReady Skilled Trades is looking for Licensed Sheet Metal Installers for our client in Wilton. We would love to hire you for this full-time position TODAY!

Please note the pay rate for this role is $44 per hour.

Responsibilities:

  • Using hand tools and benders to construct sheet metal components, cold boxes, and HVAC components
  • Installing ridged and flex duct as well as ceiling and wall HVAC vents
  • Checking refrigerants and other HVAC components with gauges and meters
  • ? Installation of Sheet Metal ductwork for ventilation system

Qualifications:

  • Be at least 18 years of age and able to provide work authorization documents
  • Must be local to Wilton area
  • Current/Active Connecticut SM1 or SM2 License
  • OSHA certification issued in the last 5 years with Certification or a willingness to obtain it
  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Prior experience in the commercial field required
  • Prior experience using Basic Sheet Metal Installer's Toolbox required
