Job Summary:

Are you mechanically inclined with a passion for precision manufacturing? We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring our computer-controlled and mechanical equipment is set up properly, operating efficiently, and producing top-notch products. Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, adjust, and operate various machines used in circuit card assembly, including surface mount technology pick and place, conformal coating, and selective solder.

  • Make manual adjustments to machine interfaces and controls to optimize performance and ensure product compliance.

  • Support Crane Business System (CBS) initiatives to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.

  • Meet lead times to fulfill customer requirements and maintain production schedules.

  • Perform routine equipment maintenance and manage consumables for assigned machines.

  • Adhere to safety protocols and company policies to ensure a secure work environment.

  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or management.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Experience: 0-5 years of experience in a related field.

· Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

· Knowledge: Competent in interpreting specifications and understanding machinery operating principles.

· Skills/Abilities: Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to follow oral and written instructions accurately and maintain records. Must have accurate color vision and depth perception. Flexibility to adjust work schedule as needed.

· Preferred: Experience in aerospace or manufacturing within a regulated field.

· Eligibility Requirement: This position requires access to Controlled Data or Information. Where the position requires such access only US persons will be considered. As a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

· Applicants selected could be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Working Conditions:

· Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment

· Manufacturing operations may require the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: eye safety glasses, gowning, masks, hearing protectors, heel/wrist straps and any other required PPE

· May be exposed to unusual environmental conditions such as loud noises, cold temperatures, confined spaces, dust or fumes

· Flexible and willing to work overtime if necessary
